In a month dominated by news coverage of the eclipse and wildfires, more than 432,000 unique users from Aragon read aragondigital.es in August—a 31% increase over the previous month, according to data from GFK DAM, the recommended audience measurement tool for digital media. Nationally, the publication surpassed 850,000 users with domestic IP addresses, up 53% from July.
These figures cement Aragón Digital’s position among the top three most-read Aragonese media outlets—ranking behind the two long-established titles, Heraldo de Aragón and Periódico de Aragón, while maintaining a significant lead over other regional media. Furthermore, throughout 2026, it has confirmed its status as the most-viewed digital-native outlet in Aragon.
Meanwhile, our portal—the longest-running digital news outlet in Aragon—remains in eighth place among the most-read general-interest media outlets in the region, trailing the fifth-place spot held by El País by just over 25,000 users.
